Arts Related Workshops and E-Resources Focusing On Skills Based Learning

Welcome to Sketch!

We are an online learning platform focusing on improving arts education at secondary school level. We offer online written workshops, videos and e-resources produced by artists to supplement young people's visual arts education. 

Having a thorough, diverse and meaningful visual arts education is vital to a young person's development. As art education has been hit with countless layers of funding cuts and a lack of priority for the arts, many students do not get the opportunity to work alongside full time creatives and see how they work. These workshops are designed to bridge the gap, allowing students to work on their creative skillset by using work based on and formulated by an artist and their specialism. Simply 'get started' with the workshops, download the sessions and off you go!

The workshops are complimented with a variety of short videos showing the student how to approach different drawing techniques and fundamentals. You can get an idea of how certain drawing techniques should look through these short videos.

You can share your creations in the forum section, where you can get help, advice and guidance from other participants and the artists behind the workshops!
