Workshop Planning: Experimenting with Drawing Tasks

Experimenting with drawing tasks is a big part of this project currently because it is helping me form a body of exercises that will be a part of the workshops I produce. Formulating easy to understand workshop content is important because the given audience will be doing the tasks by themselves, at home. Having manageable allows the student to feel like they can do the tasks independently while giving them tips and techniques that they can use in their own studies. In this exert of my sketchbook I have been looking at different ways of approaching drawing tasks under the same theme, cubes. Learning perspective through the use of cubes links directly to my practice because it replicates a building in its most simple form. Understanding how each side of a cube sits in relation to being in perspective will later help a student to draw their own shed or outbuilding in a similar manner to myself. Giving them smaller tasks will gradually develop their confidence and technique as they go along. Please refer to the sketchbook exerts:
